After completing his studies in Shanghai, Wang Xiaofei returned home to Huizhou. There, he shifted his focus from modern interior design to the preservation of traditional local buildings. He set up a workshop to explore Hui-style aesthetics with experimental designs. He has developed a means of presenting the traditional buildings with 3D animation, enabling more people to appreciate the beauty of Huizhou culture.
